Majority of the world bison`s population lives in the Bialowieza Forest. Bialowieza is a bird`s paradise where you can meet all the European species of woodpecker, nine species of owls, crane, wood grouse and many species of the eagles, including short-toed eagle, lesser spotted eagle.
